Davidson Log & Timber Artisans design and hand craft beautiful log and timber frame homes for adventurous and discerning people all over the world. We are located at the gateway to Canada's cottage country, in the beautiful Muskoka region of Ontario.

If you're someone who has been dreaming of owning your own log home for years - whether as a vacation getaway or permanent residence - you've probably seen hundreds of examples of the kinds of homes North American log companies manufacture every year. But handcrafted homes are different, and due to the small size of most handcrafting companies (and minimal attention given to marketing them), the qualities that set handcrafted homes apart from milled ones are often under emphasized.

Over the years we have been introduced to many great people in our work. Many of those who share our passion for beautiful handcrafted homes have also become our clients. (Some will be soon.) They trusted us to build that vacation getaway, final retirement home, or custom-built family residence they dreamed of for years, and in so doing, they became our friends.
